It's been a super-busy (but super-productive) weekend! Therefore, I need lots of beta'ing. I think everyone is busy scrambling to write for fests, or with midterms, or something, but if you're not super-busy ... :)

Right ... so, I'm going to need a beta (or a few betas, especially given my level of coherency this evening) for my hp_slashnotsmut fic. I can't give a lot of details here obviously, but it is fairly short, clearly not squicky, and ... well, in the interests of complete honesty: it's a pairing that some of my flist may not like, and it's due tomorrow, and I intend to be a complete prima donna about the language and details of this one. *g* If that hasn't frightened you away ... then please take pity on me. :)

Okay, a lot of pimpage first:

1. phoenix_flies Friending Frenzy has started - hopefully it will go on through the weekend, and so hop on over and make some old friends, meet some new friends, and have fun! And please pimp it for us!

2. snarry_holidays sign ups are still open - are you sure you don't want to consider it?

3. After using up all of my willpower resisting smutmas and harry_holidays, I caved and signed up for hpslashnotsmut. *sigh* I thought that signupitis had gone away, and I thought that I would be good, but no ... anyhow, sign-ups close today if you want to think about that, too.

4. For those of you who haven't seen this linked a thousand times already, you should check it out! It really is hilarious!

5. And let me leave you with a rec before I dash off to get some things done this morning: magnetic_pole's "Don't Look Back in Anger" series. It starts here and she's posted four parts of ten so far. It's brilliant, an absolute must-read if you love Snape! It starts with a fabulous hook: "There was only one way to enter the headmaster's office: head held high, wand poised, ready to strike." and continues in that brilliant vein. Such an amazing look at Snape's character ... you really must go read it and tell her to post the next part before I go crazy. :D

6. Oh, and before I actually leave you, a gentle poke to my flist - I think I'll be finishing up a couple of things this weekend, if all goes as planned, and might need some beta help. They aren't my usual pairings, so I can't exactly ask my usual Snarry betas ... but if you've some spare time on your hands and are willing to read outside the OTP, maybe you could help me? *puppy dog eyes*
