Severus shoved the champagne flute into Potter's hands, slopping the fizz onto his fingers. "Congratulations," he said.

"What?"

Weasley came up behind Potter, touching his elbow. "Hey," he said, and Potter smiled at him.

Severus's stomach turned. "Congratulations to you both."

"Professor ..."

Potter ran after him, catching his sleeve. "How did you know? It's meant to be a secret."

"The nauseating glow of your affection for each other, the bulge of the ring on a chain under your shirt ..."

"Will you tell everyone?"

Severus shook his head. "Your little marriage can remain hidden for eternity, as far as I'm concerned."

The end of the day, not a moment too soon – Harry closed his eyes, focused on his favorite chair, and Apparated home.

He landed in Ron's lap with a soft pop. "Perfect timing," Ron said.

Harry leaned in for a kiss, and then rested his forehead against Ron's, staring into his eyes. "Missed you."

Ron wrapped Harry in his arms and pulled him close for another kiss. "Missed you, too."

This was home – Ron's arms around him and Ron's lips against his, their quiet time together at the end of the day. Nothing was easier than Apparating home to this.
